SPOTSWOOD – Barbara Buono said she doesn’t take President Barack Obama’s scheduled boardwalk jaunt with Gov. Chris Christie as a slight.
“I would be very disappointed if the President didn’t come to New Jersey,” she said. “…We are on the path to rebuilding. But let me say, when all the ribbons are cut, Barbara Buono will be there standing up for the guy who can’t pay for the gas to go to the Jersey Shore.”
Buono said she is having ongoing discussions regarding the President’s visit to New Jersey but insisted, “I’m not disappointed.”
