Gov. Chris Christie has purchased another $950,000 in television air time, according to a source familiar with the buy.
The campaign will continue running its current advertisement, a 30-second spot taking Democratic gubernatorial candidate Barbara Buono to task for her tax record, for the near future, the source said. The ad will continue to run on both network and cable television.
The latest purchase brings Christie’s total television purchase to about $3 million, which inlcudes three separate media buys.
Buono has yet to air a television ad, though she has released a series of internet spots. She appears to be close to airing her first ad, which was filmed last week, but has not yet purchased air time, according to the source.
