Where better to get all liquored up on Japanese whisky than in the presence of the art of sculptor Isamu Noguchi? The House of Suntory and its U.S. CEO Toshi Kumakura are hosting a tasting of their award-winning whisky, followed by a food pairing by Brushstroke with chef Isao Yamada and chef David Bouley. Just be careful not to topple over a priceless statue once you’re seriously sauced.

The Noguchi Museum, 9-01 33rd Road, Long Island City, (718) 204-7088, 6-9pm, by invitation only.
