Guadagno makes it official in Eck case

Secretary of State Kim Guadagno issued a final decision late today in which she affirmed on all counts the June 18 decision of Administrative Law Judge Edward Delanoy, ordering that Alieta Eck be placed on the ballot for the August 13th United States Senate special election primary.

After considering the exceptions memorandum filed by former Bogota Mayor Steve Lonegan’s attorney in appeal of Delanoy’s decision and the memo filed by Eck’s attorney Ted Maciag; and reviewing the record of the June 17 administrative law hearing before Judge Delanoy, Guadagno issued a final decision completely denying the Lonegan appeal.
