A monthly print and digital literary journal, The American Reader, is celebrating Music & Literature on the occasion of its second issue, which explores the work of László Krasznahorkai, Béla Tarr and Max Neumann. The night also features a private concert by Julliard alums, who will play a classical program directed by Nathaniel Lanasa. Guests including fashion/art muse Shala Monroque, writer Ben Marcus, Arielle Patrick and Music & Literature founder/editor Taylor David Van Atta will enjoy cocktails and canapés at the home of Uzoamaka Maduka, The American Reader’s young editor in chief.
