It looks like U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone has started his signature gathering in advance of an August U.S. Senate primary.
PolitickerNJ was first to report this week that Pallone planned to run in the expedited primary and yesterday a consultant posted a help wanted ad on Google group “Jobs That Are Left.”
- According to the ad: “Canvassers needed to go door to door in Monmouth County collecting petition signatures for US Senate campaign. Make $15 per hour. Applicants must be able to walk door to door for 5 hours per shift, and MUST be a registered Democratic voter with in New Jersey. Canvassers needed Friday, June 7 from 3:00 — 8:30pm, Saturday, June 8 from 12:00 — 5:30pm and Sunday, June 9 from 12:00 — 5:30pm. Preference will be given to applicants who are available for all three shifts.
This is a great opportunity for people looking to get in on the ground floor of an exciting US Senate campaign.”
