Sol LeWitt’s extensive body of wall drawings, which he began in 1968 and continued up until his death in 2007, will be included in a digital catalogue raisonné published by Artifex Press and edited by the independent curator Béatrice Gross.

LeWitt made about 1,300 drawings directly onto walls at galleries, museums and a variety of public spaces. The catalogue raisonné will document all of them, providing captions, installation views, diagrams, provenance and installation histories. The web-based catalogue will be “sortable” and “searchable,” according to Artifex, and is expected to be published in mid-2014.
