DIS magazine and 89plus–a program that promotes artists born in or after 1989 that was started by Simon Castets and Hans Ulrich Obrist–have teamed up under the name DIScrit 89plus to launch two grants that will award talent across all disciplines.

Here’s more from DIS Magazine’s website:

“Hosted on dismagazine.com, DIScrit 89plus offers visionaries #YoungerThanRihanna the opportunity to present their work to critics, curators, and peers. Create a profile and upload work, or just browse the applicants. Grants will be awarded by an international jury and a popular vote! Click the + sign to nominate an artist for the popular vote award.”

The recipient of the first grant will be chosen by an international jury that includes Francesco Bonami, Mr. Castets, Mr. Obrist and others. The winners will receive grants worth €15,000 ($19,300) each and their work will be presented at an exhibition in the fall. The only rule for submission is that one be born in or after 1989.

Rihanna, if you’re reading this, which you aren’t, I’m sorry you can’t participate.
