For the past week, Ragnar Kjartansson has been living at the Colony installation at MoMA PS1’s “Expo 1,” and tomorrow will debut some kind of project there called Civilization.
He’s been joined at Colony by a handful of other Icelandic artists, among them Anna Hrund Másdóttir, Björk Guðnadóttir, Erling T.V. Klingenberg, Hildigunnur Birgisdóttir, Hrafnhildur Arnardóttir a k a Shoplifter, Ingibjörg Sigurjónsdóttir, Kolbeinn Hugi Höskuldsson, Kristín Anna Valtýsdóttir, Magnús Sigurðarson, Ragnar Helgi Ólafsson and Ryan Erskine, all of whom have presumably collaborated on whatever he’s debuting tomorrow.
