The Daily Show finally weighed in on New York City’s pair of politicians plodding their post-sex scandal electoral comebacks–and they didn’t exactly hold back.
During last night’s episode, fill-in host John Oliver mercilessly skewered former Gov. Eliot Spitzer, dubbed “Prostitute Johnson,” and former Congressman Anthony Weiner, nicknamed “Dick Pic McGee.”
“What President Kennedy did for Catholics and Obama did for African Americans, Weiner and Spitzer are doing for generation junk shot,” the show’s Samantha Bee declared at one point. “Somewhere out there is a schlong-waving frat boy waiting for his role model to tell him, ‘You’re O.K. You’re just like me. You can be anything you want to be.'”
Mr. Spitzer is also set to appear as a guest on The Colbert Report tonight.
