Remember Kennedy, the one-named MTV personality with the nerdy glasses and the long, frizzy hair? Well, the former VJ and current host of Alternative Nation has penned a tell-all about her years at the cable network called The Kennedy Chronicles: The Golden Age of MTV Through Rose-Colored Glasses. Kennedy, who has dabbled in libertarian politics of late, promises to dish about partying with celebrities and behind-the-scenes drama at MTV. The author will sit with famed music writer Rob Tannenbaum (who penned the book I Want My MTV: The Uncensored Story of the Music Revolution) and discuss all things MTV.
The Bryant Park Reading Room, 42nd Street side of the park, 12:30-1:45pm, free.
