Ready for gridlock and high security? The U.N. General Assembly’s 68th session convenes tomorrow and heads of state (+ entourages) roll into town. On Friday is WIE Symposium (Women, Inspiration, Enterprise) withh Katie Couric, Tyra Banks, Christine Quinn, Brooke Shields (I’m giving away two free passes worth $500 each!). And next Monday is Clinton Global Initiative with President Obama, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Bono and Sheryl Sandberg. Big policy-fueled week, yo!

Hackathon lovers, rejoice! El Hackathon (Latinos & social media) is this Friday, OnDeck Sports+Tech Hackathon (Yahoo and SeatGeek) is this Saturday, Small Biz Hackathon is next Monday, Internet of Things Hackathon ($20k prizes) is next Friday, and the Social Good Hackathon is October 5.

This Friday is TEDCity2.0: Future of Cities. Next week is the tenth anniversary of AdvertisingWeek.

This Wednesday is Queens Tech Meetup with founders of RapGenius, WeDidIt, KeyMe, TradeUp, JackPocket (I’m giving away 20 free passes).
