NJBIA taps new communications VP

TRENTON – A veteran broadcaster is returning to the capital city as a new VP with the N.J. Business and Industry Association.

Peter Peretzman, former reporter for outlets including KYW in Philadelphia and 1010 WINS Radio in New York, has been named vice president of communications at NJBIA.

Peretzman, who also served as press secretary at the state Department of Education, has also worked in communications for various private-sector employers.

“His experience as a reporter and in communications and public relations will have a significant benefit for our organization,” said NJBIA President Philip Kirschner in a release.

The NJBIA has 21,000 member companies and serves as an advocate for businesses statewide.

“I look forward to helping the Association communicate its many benefits to members and its advocacy positions on a wide variety of issues directly to government, the public and to the media,” Peretzman said.
