Peter Brant Will Sell Koons Dog, Estimated at $35 M. to $55 M. at Christie’s

Over at The New York Times Carol Vogel reports that at Christie’s fall contemporary auction Peter Brant will sell an orange Jeff Koons balloon dog with an estimate of $35 million to $55 million.

The lot has the potential to make Mr. Koons the world’s most expensive living artist at auction. He is currently the second most expensive, behind a piece by Gerhard Richter that recently sold for $37.1 million.
