Congrats MongoDB on $150 million raise at a $1.2 billion valuation, which would make the startup NYC’s most valuable!  Check out Bloomberg’s Building Digital City report, which reports that tech/information services ($30 billion wages, 262,000 jobs) is now the city’s second largest sector. Nice!

Intel and Lenovo are introducing a new award, T3CH1ES, honoring professionals in IT. Nominate someone (or even yourself). Winners receive a Lenovo product suite and a three-day trip to CES! Participants could win a Lenovo ThinkPad.
