With seven days until Election Day, Gov. Chris Christie went into full bore tough guy soundbite mode on NBC while being interviewed on the anniversary of Hurricane Sandy.
The Today Show’s Matt Lauer asked the governor if he deserved some of the blame for a slow Sandy recovery effort.
“I don’t think any of us are satisfied until every person is back in their home,” Christie said. “We’re banging heads at the federal level. It took 92 days to get aid at the federal level for Hurricane Sandy, compared to ten days for Katrina.”
