Gov. Chris Christie today was endorsed by 23 Indian American business organization leaders and individual businesses. Christie made the announcement at a stop in Iselin on Day One of his 7-day, statewide bus tour.
“Governor Christie has been a true friend to New Jersey’s Indian American community, and has fought for an agenda that moves our communities forward through job growth, expanded opportunity, and investment in our children’s education and our colleges and universities,” Chandrakant Patel, Chairman of the Indian Business Association, said in a release announcing the endorsement.
The Association cited the tax cap, school funding and $2.3 billion in small-business tax relief as reasons for backing Christie’s re-election.
