Lonegan on the attack again in Newark

U.S. Senate Republican nominee Steve Lonegan says Newark Mayor Cory Booker doesn’t live in Newark.

Encamped at a podium outside Booker’s South Ward residence, Lonegan today charged the cyber-obsessed mayor with living outside the city he purports to govern.

Booker’s U.S. Senate campaign spokesman Kevin Griffis issued the following statement on today’s attack by Booker’s rival:

“Cory Booker has lived for 16 years in some of Newark’s toughest neighborhoods, including for seven years on Hawthorne Avenue, fighting every day to make the city a better place for its residents. Steve Lonegan showed up there for an hour today to pull another laughable, desperate stunt to distract people from his extreme positions, which would make everything that’s wrong with Washington worse.”
