A poll conducted a day before last night’s gubernatorial debate has Gov. Chris Christie leading challenger Sen. Barbara Buono by more than 20 points.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey shows Christie with 55 percent support from likely New Jersey voters to Buono’s 34 percent.
The state survey of 1,000 likely voters was conducted Oct. 7. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points.
