The Bergen-Record backs Christie

The Bergen-Record today endorsed Chris Christie for governor.

The paper critcized Christie’s lack of civility sometimes. “But the force that is Christie also has been used to muscle Congress to support disaster-relief aid after Superstorm Sandy, challenge the once all-powerful New Jersey Education Association on teacher tenure reform, enact laws reforming public employee benefits and pensions, impose a 2 percent annual property tax cap and merge most of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey into Rutgers University.”

Last week, the incumbent Republican governor won the endorsement of The Star-Ledger.
