Ex-Passiac County Sheriff Ed Englehardt, Sheriff/Prosecutor Ron Fava and Sheriff Jerry Speziale all just endorsed Frank Feenan for sheriff in the competitive Passaic County sheriff’s race.

“Sixty combined years of service,” a Feenan mailer boasts.

A Republican, Feenan is running against incumbent Sheriff Richard Berdnik, who leads the Democrats’ county ticket in hopes of preventing Gov. Chris Christie’s top-of-the-ticket repeat of 2009.

When he first ran for governor, Christie’s coattails swept in three Republican freeholders.
