Botton writes in “Real Estate” of a beloved Nolita psychic warning her, “Don’t give up the apartment,” words of advice she doesn’t heed as she transitions from East 12th Street to Avenue B to her current home in upstate New York. She’ll be joined by contributors Elisa Albert, Ruth CurryMarcy Dermansky and Emily St. John Mandel, as well as a few other writers who’ll share their love/hate relationship with the city that never sleeps: Nick Flynn, Stephen Elliott and Ed Schwarzchild.
