Real Housewives’ stars face additional charges

Two stars of the TV show “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” were indicted Monday on additional bank and loan application fraud charges.

According to the U.S. District Attorney’s Office, Teresa Giudice, 41, and her husband, Giuseppe “Joe” Giudice, 43, of Towaco, were indicated on two additional counts by a federal grand jury. The new charges are part of a 41-count indictment against the couple.

Both were charged with one count of bank fraud and one count of loan application fraud, officials said.

In July, the couple was indicted on charges including conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud, as well as charges against Giuseppe Giudice for failure to file tax returns from 2004 through 2008, according to the U.S. District Attorney.
