To Do Friday: Play Ping-Pong for Charity

ping pongWhat do ping-pong and Tourette syndrome have in common? I’m not totally sure, but this event, which combines charity, a ping-pong tournament and an open bar, sounds like one of the more fun ways to support a good cause. You’ll have the chance to show off your racquet skills against WFAN’s Boomer & Carton co-host Craig Carton, while raising money for his charity, Tic Toc Stop, which supports research to find a cure for Tourette syndrome. You’ll be helping to send kids to Camp Carton, a one-week summer camp exclusively for children with Tourette syndrome.

SPiN New York, 48 East 23rd Street, 212-982-8802, 6:30 p.m., $200
