TRENTON – Election Day is finally here.

After months on the campaign trails and plenty of questions regarding how things will play out, the time for voters to hit the polls and provide answers is here. There’s no use in speculating which district will go to which candidate because before we know it the answers will be clear.

The more interesting Statehouse happenings this week will focus on leadership.

Any massive shake-up in the legislative races has the potential to stir controversy under the Golden Dome in the days following the Tuesday election.

Lawmakers will likely return to the Statehouse within days of the election to have discussions on who will represent their caucuses and both chambers in the coming months.

Of course, the election is the big item of the week, and probably the month, for that matter. But the interesting item to be on the lookout for immediately after Tuesday evening is leadership.
