The Dallas Museum of Art has the most complete set of Gerhard Richter editions in the world, as well as work by Anselm Kiefer, Sigmar Polke and Thomas Struth. A major portion of the museum’s contemporary department comes from Dallas area collectors Marguerite and Robert Hoffman, Cindy and Howard Rachofsky, and Deedie and Rusty Rose, whose private collections were jointly pledged as an irrevocable bequest to the museum in 2005. Mr. Delahunty will start at the museum in the spring.
