This evening’s New York Times report in which David Wildstein’s attorney says his client can supply evidence that Gov. Chris Christie knew about the George Washington Bridge lane closures just changed the game, according to veteran state Sen. Ray Lesniak (D-20).

“What I think is that the assembly needs to investigate Wildstein’s statement because it establishes a reasonable suspicion that a crime was committed by the governor,” Lesniak said. “If that establishes probable cause, we should move toward articles of impeachment.”
