Wildstein’s lawyer won’t comment on whether his client will appear at committee

TRENTON – David Wildstein’s attorney would not say today whether the ousted Port Authority official would appear at noon today before the Transportation Committee. Wildstein has been subpoenaed, and he lost a bid this morning to quash that subpoena.

The judge took jurisdiction of one of the three issues he raised and ruled against him. Wildstein, a former PolitickerNJ editor, was not in court today and his attorney, Alan Zegas, said that he would have to talk to his client. Every question to Zegas basically drew the response: “I have to talk to my client.”
