Taking time out of his schedule of playing a forensic cadaver-peeler on Hannibal, former Kids In the Hall member Scott Thompson joined Stephen Colbert last night in character as Buddy Cole, that lovable, flaming barfly, and new Sochi correspondent for the show. This can go only amazingly.

This just kind of makes you wonder why more KITH characters aren’t taking spots on Colbert. We could see the Chicken Lady being the new animal rights expert, or Darill as the new culture correspondent and wine connoisseur.
Or, you know, they could just bring back Kids in the Hall. That would be good, too.
