The Political Action Committee of The Latino Leadership Alliance of New Jersey (LLANJ-PAC) this week ratified its decision to endorse Maria Teresa Feliciano for Mayor of Paterson in the May 13th election.
The LLANJ-PAC made the endorsement of Maria Teresa for Mayor after receiving a unanimous recommendation from LLANJ statewide Delegates who held their quarterly meeting this past Saturday.
“Maria Teresa has the talent, experience, political savvy and community understanding to be a great Mayor,” said Martin Perez, Esq., President of LLANJ. “She is capable of uniting all sectors of the community and with her hard work, and dedication, will bring splendor and prosperity back to the City of Paterson.
“Maria Teresa is a consummate leader with the educational and professional background to run a city like Paterson,” Perez added. “She has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration; twenty-eight years of experience in administration in the public sector; an extensive record of involvement and leadership of local and state organizations; and the passion for this city that saw her grow up. “
Feliciano is running in a field of contenders for mayor that includes incumbent Mayor Jeff Jones, former Mayor Jose “Joey” Torres, Council President Andre Sayegh, Councilman Rigo Rodriguez, and former Councilman Aslon Goow.
