The Mercer County Central Labor Council today threw its support behind state Sen. Linda Greenstein for CD 12.
Labor Council President Michael Maloney issued a statement Friday calling a “true friend of the labor movement.” He lauded the state lawmaker for her continuous support of middle class causes through her years in the Legislature.
“Labor proudly stands with Linda Greenstein because she has stood with us time after time after time,” Maloney said in the statement.
“She is a true friend of the labor movement, and has fought with us against the right wing’s attacks on working families,” he said. “Linda understands that our families need good jobs, affordable healthcare and safe communities. These are the hallmarks of her time in the Legislature, and we desperately need those values in the halls of Congress.”
