A pair of Mercer County officials added their names to the list of state Sen. Linda Greenstein (D-14) CD 12 supporters.
West Windsor council members George Borek and Kristina Samonte endorsed Greenstein’s bid for Congress.
“Our communities need a congresswoman who shares our middle-class values and will stand up for us with strength and determination,” Borek said in a statement. “Time and again, Linda Greenstein has stepped up to get things done and she has the ability to win any fight. We need a tested leader to fill Rush Holt’s shoes fighting for us in Washington, and that person is Linda Greenstein.”
Samonte echoed similar remarks.
“The chance to send one of Trenton’s strongest and most determined women to Congress is too good pass up,” she said. “Her record of standing up for women, children, and families is second-to-none. At a time when too many people in Congress seem to have forgotten about women and are trying to stop our march to pay and gender equality, Linda will remind them that a woman’s place is in the House of Representatives, fighting for us.”
