Ellen Langan, a director at Maccarone on Greenwich Street, has been named a partner at the gallery, according to an e-mail sent out this morning by Michele Maccarone. In her announcement, Ms. Maccarone said, “For nearly a decade, Ellen has been at the heart of developing the gallery program and expanding our artist roster, as well as lending her incredible curatorial vision and unwavering support as the gallery continues to grow.”

Ms. Langan has been integral organizing numerous shows at the gallery, which opened on Canal Street in 2001 and moved to Greenwich Village in 2007. Last month, Maccarone announced it would open a space in Los Angeles in 2015.
