Are you dying for Hinoki Baths, Himalaya Salts and Color Therapy but don’t want to go all the way to College Point, Queens? Do you not believe those treatments actually exist? Either way, it’s your lucky day: Spa Castle is coming to Manhattan.
The new location, called Spa Castle Premier, will open at 115 East 57th Street, which was previously leased by the New York Tennis and Racquet Club. According to Spa Castle’s website, it will feature three floors of spa facilities, plus an outdoor sun deck with a Bade Pool (a shallow pool with jets that massage your body). So now you can chill out in the “Infared Zone” while munching on organic frozen yogurt while remaining only blocks away from four different McDonalds (in case you wanted to complete your wellness routine with a Big Mac).
Spa Castle Premier is set to open this fall, though a specific date has not yet been announced. Spa Castle, which also has a location in Carrollton, Texas, is owned by C. Castle Group Corp. The company wants to “incorporate the best traditions and practices from Asia, with the techniques and expertise of the best spas in Europe,” according to its website, and plans to build more “urban resorts” around the world.
