TRENTON – Lawmakers investigating the Gov. Chris Christie administration went behind closed doors ahead of Tuesday’s testimony from a former Christie campaign staffer after a back-and-forth about what to discuss and where to do it.
The joint legislative hearing stumbled out of the gate as the day’s witness, former Christie staffer Matt Mowers, sat before legislators prepared to offer testimony.
Lawmakers went behind closed doors after a Republican legislator requested interview notes from Mowers meeting with the committee’s attorney.
