Bridgegate committee stumbles out of the gate

TRENTON – Lawmakers investigating the Gov. Chris Christie administration went behind closed doors ahead of Tuesday’s testimony from a former Christie campaign staffer after a back-and-forth about what to discuss and where to do it.

Lawmakers went behind closed doors after a Republican legislator requested interview notes from Mowers meeting with the committee’s attorney.
