PATERSON – Mayoral candidate Aslon Goow voted at 6 a.m.
“The difference is going to be the people,” said Goow, former Ward 2 Councilman, who ran on a law and order message. “The people are going to vote. It’s a beautiful day. You couldn’t get better conditions. There are no excuses.
“God willing, it’s a thumbs up for us, and God forbid if it’s not,” he added. “It will be a disaster for the city. I’m the only candidate I support in this field.”
Goow’s campaign itinerary includes tramping tours of the 4th and 6th wards later this afternoon.
There are eight people running in this historic contest in a city that does not have a runoff.
Top-vote getter wins tonight.
