If one Brooklyn restaurant can be said to have won over Manhattan gastronomes, it would have to be Battersby, a one-year wonder whose meticulous food and three-star standards caused the Times’ Pete Wells and New York’s Adam Platt to announce Brooklyn’s arrival as a gastronomic destination. Mr. Ogrodnek and Mr. Stern’s newest venture, Dover, picks up where Battersby left off, and has enjoyed comparable adulation.
