Mr. Nevin founded the luxe Williamsburg-based fashion and culture magazine The Journal way back in 1999 and then followed up with a modestly-sized but vital Journal Gallery five years later. In 2012, he upgraded to one of the largest spaces in Brooklyn, a handsome Williamsburg warehouse with more than 2,000 square feet. He has a sharp sense for showing artists just as they are hitting their stride and has helped put quite a few over the top.
