Hudson Democrats gave the scepter of the realm once again to Vinny Prieto.
Now no longer dependent alone on the animal warmth of Menendez operatives as was the case last month at Casino in the Park, Jimmy Davis showed up, fresh off his Bayonne flattening of Mark Smith.
So did state Sen. Brian P. Stack (D-33), who made a few remarks about Hudson County Democratic Organization (HCDO) “unity,” then darted for the exit before someone snapped a group shot.
Not in attendance was Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer.
“City business.”
Zimmer’s freeholder candidate, Phil Cohen, didn’t make it last Tuesday night.
Showing an ease with the old school Saccophants in the room, Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop emceed the event.
Davis found a welcome space on the organization’s power platform.
