While the Board of Health and Mayor Bill de Blasio are seriously considering lifting New York City’s ban on ferrets as pets, men and women in NYC are at odds over it.
According to the New York Post, a Quinnipiac poll that was released on Wednesday said men approve of ferrets weaseling their way back into the city by a 43 to 37 percent margin.
On the other hand, women in NYC are anti-ferret by 46 to 36 percent.
As a whole, NYC is divided: 39 percent are ferret friends, and 42 percent are ferret foes.
As for the other 19 percent? They’re simply not devoting their lives to an excessive concern with weasels.
