“I’m really excited to go over to Mensjournal.com as an Associate Editor. I love what Gus Wenner has been doing at Wenner Media, and the Men’s Journal team is a great one to be joining,” Mr. Diamond told the Observer in an email. “I look forward to the things we’ll be doing, and think it will be a fun new challenge for me.”

Mr. Diamond, the former editor in chief of Jewish culture site Jewcy.com, started at Flavorwire as managing editor in 2012 and became the literary editor last summer. He is the founding editor of Vol. 1 Brookyn, a site devoted to the bookish borough’s literary scene.

“I’m obviously sad to be leaving my amazing colleagues at Flavorwire, but I’ll still be writing about books for a few other outlets including Vol. 1 Brooklyn and a bi-weekly column at Electric Literature, and also working on my book,” he said.

Earlier this summer, Flavorwire lost deputy editor Tyler Coates to Decider.com, New York Post’s forthcoming stand-alone entertainment site.
