Booker campaigns in Colorado for Udall

The polls show incumbent U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) in a closer-than-expected contest with GOP challenger Jeff Bell, but that didn’t deter Booker from campaigning in Colorado over the weekend.

At a campaign stop in Northeast Denver, Booker called U.S. Sen. Mark Udall’s challenger Cory Gardner a “wingnut,” according to The Denver Post.

Prior to his visit to Colorado, Booker anchored NJ events last week for Somerset County Democrats and for Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-15), who’s running for Congress in CD12 against Republican challenger Dr. Alieta Eck.
