Gov. Chris Christie is in Illinois today, stumping for fellow gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner (ROW-nur). He had some harsh words for Democrats there, who he accused of using “every trick in the book” to get incumbent Gov. Pat Quinn re-elected.

“You people in Illinois make New Jersey people blush,” Christie said, referring to recent changes to Nov. 4 ballot which allowed the Libertarian Part to stay on and kicked the Green Party off.

The problem was, it was Illinois’ State Board of Elections — equal parts Democrat and Republican — who made the call, not the courts, as Christie incorrectly stated.
