After traveling five continents, lifelong surfer, artist and New York native, Thaddeus O’Neil became inspired by local people’s personalities and dress. Aiming to strike a balance between high-end luxurious menswear, as well as comfort, O’Neil decided that nomadism, the reflection of nature around us, and pure creativity were the main factors in launching his brand.
Handmade in New York and Japan of the highest quality materials such as cashmere, wool silk, wool linen, and brushed cotton, O’Neil’s Autumn/Winter 2014 line is juxtaposed with bold, textured prints, Mondrian-like color blocking, and graphic patterns.
Staying true to the theme of warmth, comfort, and natural, O’Neil’s latest line is a combination of lush earth tones, grey, black, neutral tones, and indigos. The more opaque, muted hues are an invitation into the world of unexpected, luxury menswear.
The collection serves up season-long staple pieces, which subtly play on the intersection of masculine and feminine. Each piece is a guide into O’Neil’s travels and sensibility as an artist, designer, and New Yorker.
