Report: fire that killed the Sheridans was arson

The Philadelphia Business Journal reports that the fire that killed Cooper Hospital CEO John Sheridan and his wife Joyce was arson.

According to the report, the fire “was intentionally set within the couple’s master bedroom, according to investigators assigned to the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Arson Task Force.

“Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffrey D. Soriano said the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Mr. and Mrs. Sheridan “remain an active and ongoing investigation with laboratory results still pending.”
