Riley leans on Democratic colleagues in Cumberland County clerk’s bid against veteran Noto

Don’t forget that Cumberland County Clerk’s race, where longtime Republican incumbent Gloria Noto is trying to stare down noto_newDemocratic challenger Celeste Riley, an assemblywoman in the 3rd District.

In her 11-day pre-election report, Noto (pictured) reported $8,619 in receipts for the last period and a closing balance of $340.

Her supporters include U.S. Rep. Frank LoBiondo (R-2) ($500) and Assembly Minority Leader Jon Bramnick (R-21) ($1,000).

Riley reported receipts of $27,000 in her 11-day pre-election report and a closing balance of $140.

Her financial backers include Assemblyman Tom Giblin (D-34) ($500); state Sen. Jeff Van Drew (D-1) ($500); Assemblyman Paul Moriarty (D-4) ($500); Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle (D-37) ($500); Assembly Majority Leader Lou Greenwald ($8,200); state Sen. James Beach ($1000); Assemblywoman Pam Lampitt (D-6) ($2,000); Assemblywoman Gabriela Mosquera ($500); and the Gloucester County Democrat Executive Committee ($10,000).
