The New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA),which represents the state’s multi-family housing industry, has announced the appointment of David H. Brogan as its new executive director and executive vice-president of government affairs and business development.
In his new role, Brogan will develop and implement a strategic plan for the association designed to increase membership and revenue, elevate its government affairs activities on both the state and local levels, enhance member benefits and education, and raise the stature of both the NJAA and the NJAA Political Action Committee (PAC).
NJAA represents owners, managers and developers of nearly 190,000 rental homes in New Jersey as well as hundreds of suppliers to the multi-family housing industry. The association is dedicated to providing safe, clean and affordable rental housing to more than a million residents throughout the state.
“David brings more than 17 years of experience in public and legislative affairs to NJAA, where his first-hand understanding of government will contribute toward advancing the legislative, regulatory and policy priorities of our membership,” said William Dailey, president of NJAA. “Under his leadership the association is poised for growth, and will continue to provide an inclusive and cohesive voice for New Jersey’s multi-family housing industry.”
