“I want to thank you for naming me number seven on the power list that included elected officials. I plan to work my way up to an even lower number during the next year. So be prepared!” said Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg.
“New Jersey has a vast number of smart and dynamic women who have achieved power and influence. I am glad to see more women on PolitickerNJ’s Power List this year, with 15 women out of 100, up from 11 in 2013. I want to congratulate all of the women named by PolitickerNJ in 2014. However, the list still fails to recognize many women who are getting things done in Trenton and across the state. In addition, the first woman does not show up until #23. Last year, there were four women in the top 10. The women who are making things happen in New Jersey deserve recognition, so I am again submitting to you a list of “Power Women” in our great state. Here is my list of 71 women in alphabetical order,” said Weinberg.
