Christie conditionally vetoes generator bill

Governor Chris Christie today announced action that has been taken on the following legislation:




S-900/A-3632 (Rice/Tucker, Mosquera, Garcia, Wimberly) – Requires Commissioner of Health to review impact of disabilities on persons in minority and underrepresented communities


S-1382/A-2933 (Barnes, Van Drew/Pinkin, DeAngelo, Eustace) – Prohibits unsolicited telemarketing sales calls to commercial mobile service devices


A-1483/S-2363 (DeAngelo, Benson, Wisniewski/Greenstein) – Eliminates DOT approval of municipal traffic calming measures in business districts





S-854/A-1341 (Vitale/Quijano, Sumter, Pinkin, Wimberly)CONDITIONAL – Requires that certain health care facilities be generator ready; allows health care facilities to qualify for NJEDA loans for cost of generators
