It can be tough to differentiate yourself in New York City at a time of year when everyone is bundled up in heavy coats, thick scarves and cozy hats rule. But this week, as the partying-on-a-weeknight crowd finally gave up on their Dry January dreams and emerged from post-Christmas hibernation, they showed that the best way to look good when the sun sets before 5 p.m. is to wear fur.
Any kind of fur is up for grabs right now — fur sweatshirts, fur vests, bright yellow fur and even fur wings were on display at parties throughout Manhattan this week.
